Does True Romance Still Exist… Part 1
This afternoon I had a thought about the idea of “True Romance.” A type of romance that once you have enjoyed it you will yearn it the rest of your life. I have decided where I am not exactly ready to throw myself into this completely I am prepared to test the water a little. So I have decided to tease my topic today and then throw myself into this head first tomorrow.
As typical as it might sound for a person obsessed with romance, I love black and white movies and musicals. I watched one last night when I could not sleep. My very favorite black and white musical with one of the sweetest yet zany romances, Top Hat. Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire in this movie always make me dreamy and hopeful. The romance that comes about in this movie like I said is a little zany, but the message of romance is like no other. (Seriously the dance scene to Cheek to Cheek… come on that is a romantic’s dream come true.)
Each time I watch this movie I wonder if romance that grand still exists. So instead of one of my typical long winded blogs I am signing off with a single question.
Will the conversations I have tonight give me a look into “True Romance?”
